XTREME 61/29 & XTREME 61/29 II

COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 & COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 II are ideal for all types of facades in commercial and residential projects, where a high solar protection is needed (g = 0,29*) without compromise on the daylight income (LT = 61%*)

With a neutral appearance, lowered reflection and consistent color, the new COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 and 61/29 II are ideally suited for fully glazed facades where energy efficiency, transparency and outstanding aesthetic are required

The reduced levels of indoor and outdoor reflection meet the latest market requests in terms of design, comfort, but also bird protection and allow a use in all types of projects to travel around the world.

Two versions of the product are available to adapt to all requirements for security in facades:

- COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 for annealed glass

- COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 for tempered glass

COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 (II) is available on clear PLANICLEAR® or extra-clear DIAMANT® glass in several thickness (from 3mm to 12mm) and size.

It is also available, on demands in Overlength (up to 18m) or more tailor-made size (split length) for production or design optimization.

In standard build-up in a double glazing unit (DGU) 6/16/4mm, with XTREME 61/29 (II) on face 2, all panes PLANICLEAR® (according to EN410):

• You reach a light transmission (LT) of 61% for a solar factor (g-value) of 29%, offering thus extreme selectivity of 2,1.

• The levels of reflection are extremely low, the external reflection (RLe) is 11% and internal reflection (RLi) is 14%

In a triple glazing unit (TGU) 6/12/4/12/4, with XTREME 61/29 (II) on face 2 and PLANITHERM® XN on face 5, all panes PLANICLEAR® (according to EN410)

• You reach a light transmission (LT) of 55% for a solar factor (g-value) of 27%

• The levels of reflection are extremely low, the external reflection (RLe) is 13% and internal reflection (RLi) is 16%

In order to achieve its performances and aesthetics, COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 (II) must be:

• Edge deleted prior to assembling

• Tempered - compatible with Heat Soak Test (only applicable for COOL-LITE® XTREME 61/29 II)

• Assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU)

• Positioned on the face 2 (inside the IGU)

Once the product is made into a sealed unit, the coating is protected within the sealed unit and it is handled in the usual way.
