COOL-LITE SKN 144 II can be used to improve the energy efficiency of buildings by considerably reducing overheating and the need for costly air conditioning. It is particularly suited to large areas of glazing where superior solar control performance is required whilst at the same time noticeably reducing excessive heat loss.
COOL-LITE SKN 144 II can be toughened from stock enabling a quick turnaround for toughened/heat-strengthened double-glazed units. This high performance coating can be used to produce exciting and innovative projects within a short timescale. There is the additional advantage, therefore, of a short lead time for replacements.
COOL-LITE SKN 144 II / 044 II is a "to be tempered" solar control product which is primarily used in commercial buildings, either for façades, windows or overhead glazing.
