COOL-LITE® XTREME 51/23 and COOL-LITE® XTREME 51/23 II - representing the annealed and to-be-tempered versions respectively – are high-performance triple-silver solar control glass designed to strike the perfect balance between natural light and effective solar energy management. Its delivers exceptional selectivity, combining a high light transmission of 51% with a remarkably low solar factor of just 23%. The result is a sleek, neutral aesthetic with minimal light reflection - ideal for modern architectural design.This product replaces the COOL-LITE® XTREME 50/22 II, bringing not only a more modern neutral aesthetic but also an annealed version of the product.COOL-LITE® XTREME 51/23 (II) offers colour neutrality whatever the viewing angles with outstanding performances and selectivity.

Applications
COOL-LITE® XTREME 51/23 (II) features an extremely selective solar control coating primarily for use in the commercial and premium building market. Due to the high performance of the coating, it is ideally suited for use in large, glazed facades or overhead glazing requiring a low solar factor, thus enhancing occupant visual and thermal comfort, by ensuring a pleasant indoor climate, making even the sunniest spaces liveable, for example:

• Healthcare

• Other

Its middle/high light transmission together with the low solar factor makes it the ideal product to create light spaces and to provide all year long natural lighting and energy saving. The combination of low reflection and neutral aspect makes it the ideal product for modern architecture, with large glass panes, also in hot climate. It might prevent the use of shading systems and shutters, and thus can be used in renovation of historic building.

COOL-LITE® XTREME 51/23 (II) is also available on ORAÉ® low-carbon glass, to combine performance and sustainability and provide the best of both embodied and operational carbon levels.
This product is covered by a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and is cradle to cradle bronze certified.

Performances
ANNEALED: The product is available in Annealed version.
HEAT-TREATMENT: The product is available in To-be-tempered version (with suffix II); It is delivered in standard with EASYPRO® temporary surface protection. To achieve its performance and aesthetics, the product must be tempered. It is compatible with Heat Soak Test.
EDGE DELETION: Edge deletion of the coating is compulsory prior to assembling.
INSULATED GLAZING UNIT: The product must be assembled into an insulated glazing unit (IGU); The coating must be positioned on the face 2 (inside the IGU).
LAMINATION: The product can be laminated, taking care to place the coating outside of the laminate (coating on face 4 of the laminated pane).
ENAMELING: No common approval for the enameling of silver-based high-performance coatings.
